Aegean Nocturne This picture was conceived as an illustration from Homer’s Odyssey, complete with an ancient Greek sailing ship and possibly a temple or garden.  Another artist persuaded me to leave the landscape unembellished, and today I think the picture gains an air of mystery from its simplicity. I still call it an illustration from the Odyssey; but whatever happened here is past, and the participants have moved on.

Dubai World Islands, The World man-made archipelago is consisting of 300 islands that have been constructed in the shape of the Earth and featuring the different countries of the world.  It’s an amazing and one-of-a-kind project. Added to the bucket list.
