Despite a weak economy, Walt Disney Co reported a 7% gain in revenue and a 30% increase in net income the fourth quarter of this fiscal year.  Smart move on Disney to close a deal with the NFL to keep MNF on ESPN, given that NFL TV ratings are soaring. Surprisingly the parks and resorts reported an 11% revenue gain, which goes to show that consumers are still willing to forgo money to go to theme parks. And yes, that includes me. It’s been on my bucket list to celebrate Christmas at Disney World lol. It’s so gorgeous and magical! After all, it IS the place “Where Dreams Come True”.
